I’m a creative entrepreneur who enjoys seeing others succeed. Two aspects of business coaching that are most satisfying are that results can be measured and they can begin immediately following strategic action steps.
Coaching found me when a client who I had created websites for asked me to coach her coffee shop manager. I developed 2-six week courses here we established goals for average orders and daily/monthly sales. We implemented inventory controls which resulted in a 15% increase in revenue.
During my career, I have worked closely with the Small Business Development Center. As social media and online tools became significant to strategic marketing, we developed training programs and classes for businesses. Recently, I was invited to join a select group to advise business people in Cochise County, Arizona. My specialty revolves around marketing, however my experiences as a marketing agency executive and founder helps me to relate to all aspects of day-to-day and visioning aspects relevant to small business leaders.
I founded Prism Communications, a southern Arizona based advertising agency so that I could help local businesses while raising four children. The company served 100s of clients and was involved in radio, television, magazines, commercial printing among other services and projects. I found that the freedom to help my community while also being able to prioritize family needs most valuable.
While working with chambers of commerce, we battled the reputation of being stale and outdated so so we threw out some of our non-relevant programs and began thinking about what local business needs today. Chambers don’t qualify for grant funding, so we partnered with other organizations to bring forth programs to teach marketing, social media strategies, and to lure professionals to rural communities. These programs are active and sustainable.
I am Memere (grandma) to four of the best humans on the planet and mom to four who are amazing adults. I am blessed to have the resources to visit them often. During the height of the pandemic, I bought a motorcoach and resolved to one day be able to travel fulltime and today I am blessed to see the US, visit family and friends, while helping businesses people achieve their goals.
